Pete's Back!

Along with my crazy taste and interests, I am a huge fan of the writer within the Inkling. As I previously stated about Phillip Pullman, I have always felt some of the greatest writers of our time were from the Inkling. Together, they created a whole universe that most of us have dreamed of or fantasied about.

From Elves, to Rangers, to Dwarfs, to wizards, Middle Earth and it's many beliefs became a calling for a lot of us. We believed in chivalry because that's what Rangers do. We followed wisdom and higher learning because that's what wizards did. We were above anger and fighting because that's what Elves believed.

I would have to say that those were some of the best days of my life. Geekdom at it's finest.

Peter Jackson had to have been one of the biggest geeks out there. His vision for the Lord of the Rings was amazing. He knew what the world looked like. He know how the armies would fight. He saw how the story unfolded. His recreation of the trilogy has to be one of the greatest piece of movie production and vision and of us have seen.

It's with great joy to hear that he is back again to finish what he started. Jackson is back to produce "The Hobbit". The Lord of the Rings prequel. The story that told of how Bilbo found the ring, and his many adventures with Gandalf the Grey.

I can't wait to see what he does to bring this story alive.
